Ground Beef Bones is a nutritional supplement for dogs and cats with increased calcium needs. It is particularly suited for pregnant or nursing dogs and cats and growing puppies as they all need more calcium than they would normally consume in their daily diet. Also ideal for dogs and cats that are unable to tolerate raw bones in their diet.

How does Ground Beef Bones work?

Our Ground Beef Bones product is finely ground, increasing the amount of nutrients absorbed by your pet’s body. Its consistency makes it easy to mix with food and its flavour is appealing to both dogs and cats.

Processed animal protein ground (from fresh beef bones) (14% calcium)

Analytical constituents:

Crude protein 51.2%, Crude fat 7.1%, Crude ash 35.0%

The powder can simply be mixed into the daily food (1 measuring spoon corresponds to 2 g). If bones are fed as part of the dog's diet, the amount should be reduced accordingly or omitted. The stated daily requirement is only a recommendation and can vary.

Requirements for adult dogs:

Dogs up to 5 kg: 3 g daily

Dogs up to 10 kg: 5 g daily

Dogs up to 15 kg: 7 g daily

Dogs up to 20 kg: 9 g daily

Dogs up to 25 kg: 11 g daily

Dogs up to 30 kg: 13 g daily

Nursing mother animals per 3 kg body weight:

For 4 puppies: 2 x daily requirement

For 4 - 6 puppies: 4 x daily requirement

For more than 6 puppies: 5 x daily requirement

(1 measuring spoon equals 2 g)

Requirements for adult cats:

Cats up to 2 kg: 0.5 g daily

Cats up to 4 kg: 1 g daily

Cats up to 8 kg: 2 g daily
